Tafsir of verse (43) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ ما تَسبِقُ مِن أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَها وَما يَستَـٔخِرونَ ﴾
No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].
Tafsir of verse (44) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ ثُمَّ أَرسَلنا رُسُلَنا تَترا ۖ كُلَّ ما جاءَ أُمَّةً رَسولُها كَذَّبوهُ ۚ فَأَتبَعنا بَعضَهُم بَعضًا وَجَعَلنٰهُم أَحاديثَ ۚ فَبُعدًا لِقَومٍ لا يُؤمِنونَ ﴾
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.
Tafsir of verse (45) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ ثُمَّ أَرسَلنا موسىٰ وَأَخاهُ هٰرونَ بِـٔايٰتِنا وَسُلطٰنٍ مُبينٍ ﴾
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority.
Tafsir of verse (46) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ إِلىٰ فِرعَونَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِ فَاستَكبَروا وَكانوا قَومًا عالينَ ﴾
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
Tafsir of verse (47) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ فَقالوا أَنُؤمِنُ لِبَشَرَينِ مِثلِنا وَقَومُهُما لَنا عٰبِدونَ ﴾
They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?"
Tafsir of verse (48) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ فَكَذَّبوهُما فَكانوا مِنَ المُهلَكينَ ﴾
So they denied them and were of those destroyed.
Tafsir of verse (49) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ وَلَقَد ءاتَينا موسَى الكِتٰبَ لَعَلَّهُم يَهتَدونَ ﴾
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided.
Tafsir of verse (50) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ وَجَعَلنَا ابنَ مَريَمَ وَأُمَّهُ ءايَةً وَءاوَينٰهُما إِلىٰ رَبوَةٍ ذاتِ قَرارٍ وَمَعينٍ ﴾
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.
Tafsir of verse (51) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ يٰأَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَاعمَلوا صٰلِحًا ۖ إِنّى بِما تَعمَلونَ عَليمٌ ﴾
[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Knowing.
Tafsir of verse (52) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ وَإِنَّ هٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُم أُمَّةً وٰحِدَةً وَأَنا۠ رَبُّكُم فَاتَّقونِ ﴾
And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me."
Tafsir of verse (53) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ فَتَقَطَّعوا أَمرَهُم بَينَهُم زُبُرًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزبٍ بِما لَدَيهِم فَرِحونَ ﴾
But they [i.e., the people] divided their religion among them into portions [i.e., sects] – each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.
Tafsir of verse (54) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ فَذَرهُم فى غَمرَتِهِم حَتّىٰ حينٍ ﴾
So leave them in their confusion for a time.
Tafsir of verse (55) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ أَيَحسَبونَ أَنَّما نُمِدُّهُم بِهِ مِن مالٍ وَبَنينَ ﴾
Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children.
Tafsir of verse (56) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ نُسارِعُ لَهُم فِى الخَيرٰتِ ۚ بَل لا يَشعُرونَ ﴾
Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.
Tafsir of verse (57) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ إِنَّ الَّذينَ هُم مِن خَشيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُشفِقونَ ﴾
Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord.
Tafsir of verse (58) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ وَالَّذينَ هُم بِـٔايٰتِ رَبِّهِم يُؤمِنونَ ﴾
And they who believe in the signs of their Lord.
Tafsir of verse (59) from Surah Al-Muminun
﴿ وَالَّذينَ هُم بِرَبِّهِم لا يُشرِكونَ ﴾
And they who do not associate anything with their Lord.
