Tafsir of verse (56) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَما أَرسَلنٰكَ إِلّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذيرًا ﴾
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
Tafsir of verse (57) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ قُل ما أَسـَٔلُكُم عَلَيهِ مِن أَجرٍ إِلّا مَن شاءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبيلًا ﴾
Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment – only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."
Tafsir of verse (58) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى الحَىِّ الَّذى لا يَموتُ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِهِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِهِ بِذُنوبِ عِبادِهِ خَبيرًا ﴾
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, [fully] Aware.
Tafsir of verse (59) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ الَّذى خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما فى سِتَّةِ أَيّامٍ ثُمَّ استَوىٰ عَلَى العَرشِ ۚ الرَّحمٰنُ فَسـَٔل بِهِ خَبيرًا ﴾
He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne – the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed [i.e., the Prophet].
Tafsir of verse (60) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُمُ اسجُدوا لِلرَّحمٰنِ قالوا وَمَا الرَّحمٰنُ أَنَسجُدُ لِما تَأمُرُنا وَزادَهُم نُفورًا ۩ ﴾
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.
Tafsir of verse (61) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ تَبارَكَ الَّذى جَعَلَ فِى السَّماءِ بُروجًا وَجَعَلَ فيها سِرٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُنيرًا ﴾
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.
Tafsir of verse (62) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَهُوَ الَّذى جَعَلَ الَّيلَ وَالنَّهارَ خِلفَةً لِمَن أَرادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَو أَرادَ شُكورًا ﴾
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.
Tafsir of verse (63) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَعِبادُ الرَّحمٰنِ الَّذينَ يَمشونَ عَلَى الأَرضِ هَونًا وَإِذا خاطَبَهُمُ الجٰهِلونَ قالوا سَلٰمًا ﴾
And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.
Tafsir of verse (64) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَالَّذينَ يَبيتونَ لِرَبِّهِم سُجَّدًا وَقِيٰمًا ﴾
And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer].
Tafsir of verse (65) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَالَّذينَ يَقولونَ رَبَّنَا اصرِف عَنّا عَذابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذابَها كانَ غَرامًا ﴾
And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering.
Tafsir of verse (66) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ إِنَّها ساءَت مُستَقَرًّا وَمُقامًا ﴾
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
Tafsir of verse (67) from Surah Al-Furqan
﴿ وَالَّذينَ إِذا أَنفَقوا لَم يُسرِفوا وَلَم يَقتُروا وَكانَ بَينَ ذٰلِكَ قَوامًا ﴾
And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate.
