Tafsir of verse (57) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ أَو تَقولَ لَو أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدىٰنى لَكُنتُ مِنَ المُتَّقينَ ﴾
Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous."
Tafsir of verse (58) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ أَو تَقولَ حينَ تَرَى العَذابَ لَو أَنَّ لى كَرَّةً فَأَكونَ مِنَ المُحسِنينَ ﴾
Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good."
Tafsir of verse (59) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ بَلىٰ قَد جاءَتكَ ءايٰتى فَكَذَّبتَ بِها وَاستَكبَرتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ ﴾
But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.
Tafsir of verse (60) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ وَيَومَ القِيٰمَةِ تَرَى الَّذينَ كَذَبوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجوهُهُم مُسوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلمُتَكَبِّرينَ ﴾
And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant?
Tafsir of verse (61) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ وَيُنَجِّى اللَّهُ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفازَتِهِم لا يَمَسُّهُمُ السّوءُ وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ ﴾
And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve.
Tafsir of verse (62) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ اللَّهُ خٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَكيلٌ ﴾
Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.
Tafsir of verse (63) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ لَهُ مَقاليدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۗ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخٰسِرونَ ﴾
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah – it is those who are the losers.
Tafsir of verse (64) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ قُل أَفَغَيرَ اللَّهِ تَأمُرونّى أَعبُدُ أَيُّهَا الجٰهِلونَ ﴾
Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones?"
Tafsir of verse (65) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ وَلَقَد أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ وَإِلَى الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِكَ لَئِن أَشرَكتَ لَيَحبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ ﴾
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers.
Tafsir of verse (66) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعبُد وَكُن مِنَ الشّٰكِرينَ ﴾
Rather, worship [only] Allah and be among the grateful.
Tafsir of verse (67) from Surah Az-Zumar
﴿ وَما قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدرِهِ وَالأَرضُ جَميعًا قَبضَتُهُ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ مَطوِيّٰتٌ بِيَمينِهِ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ وَتَعٰلىٰ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ ﴾
They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip[ ] on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
