Tafsir of verse (67) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ هُوَ الَّذى خَلَقَكُم مِن تُرابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُطفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخرِجُكُم طِفلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبلُغوا أَشُدَّكُم ثُمَّ لِتَكونوا شُيوخًا ۚ وَمِنكُم مَن يُتَوَفّىٰ مِن قَبلُ ۖ وَلِتَبلُغوا أَجَلًا مُسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُم تَعقِلونَ ﴾
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is take
Tafsir of verse (68) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ هُوَ الَّذى يُحيۦ وَيُميتُ ۖ فَإِذا قَضىٰ أَمرًا فَإِنَّما يَقولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكونُ ﴾
He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is.
Tafsir of verse (69) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ أَلَم تَرَ إِلَى الَّذينَ يُجٰدِلونَ فى ءايٰتِ اللَّهِ أَنّىٰ يُصرَفونَ ﴾
Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah – how are they averted?
Tafsir of verse (70) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ الَّذينَ كَذَّبوا بِالكِتٰبِ وَبِما أَرسَلنا بِهِ رُسُلَنا ۖ فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ ﴾
Those who deny the Book [i.e., the Quran] and that with which We sent Our messengers – they are going to know.
Tafsir of verse (71) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ إِذِ الأَغلٰلُ فى أَعنٰقِهِم وَالسَّلٰسِلُ يُسحَبونَ ﴾
hen the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged.
Tafsir of verse (72) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ فِى الحَميمِ ثُمَّ فِى النّارِ يُسجَرونَ ﴾
In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame].
Tafsir of verse (73) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ ثُمَّ قيلَ لَهُم أَينَ ما كُنتُم تُشرِكونَ ﴾
Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship].
Tafsir of verse (74) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قالوا ضَلّوا عَنّا بَل لَم نَكُن نَدعوا مِن قَبلُ شَيـًٔا ۚ كَذٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الكٰفِرينَ ﴾
Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers.
Tafsir of verse (75) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ ذٰلِكُم بِما كُنتُم تَفرَحونَ فِى الأَرضِ بِغَيرِ الحَقِّ وَبِما كُنتُم تَمرَحونَ ﴾
[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.
Tafsir of verse (76) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ ادخُلوا أَبوٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۖ فَبِئسَ مَثوَى المُتَكَبِّرينَ ﴾
Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."
Tafsir of verse (77) from Surah Ghafir
﴿ فَاصبِر إِنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۚ فَإِمّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعضَ الَّذى نَعِدُهُم أَو نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَينا يُرجَعونَ ﴾
So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned.
