Tafsir of verse (32) from Surah Al-Maidah
﴿ مِن أَجلِ ذٰلِكَ كَتَبنا عَلىٰ بَنى إِسرٰءيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ نَفسًا بِغَيرِ نَفسٍ أَو فَسادٍ فِى الأَرضِ فَكَأَنَّما قَتَلَ النّاسَ جَميعًا وَمَن أَحياها فَكَأَنَّما أَحيَا النّاسَ جَميعًا ۚ وَلَقَد جاءَتهُم رُسُلُنا بِالبَيِّنٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثيرًا مِنهُم بَعدَ ذٰلِكَ فِى الأَرضِ لَمُسرِفونَ ﴾
Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one[ ] – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And
Tafsir of verse (33) from Surah Al-Maidah
﴿ إِنَّما جَزٰؤُا۟ الَّذينَ يُحارِبونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ وَيَسعَونَ فِى الأَرضِ فَسادًا أَن يُقَتَّلوا أَو يُصَلَّبوا أَو تُقَطَّعَ أَيديهِم وَأَرجُلُهُم مِن خِلٰفٍ أَو يُنفَوا مِنَ الأَرضِ ۚ ذٰلِكَ لَهُم خِزىٌ فِى الدُّنيا ۖ وَلَهُم فِى الءاخِرَةِ عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ ﴾
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the
Tafsir of verse (34) from Surah Al-Maidah
﴿ إِلَّا الَّذينَ تابوا مِن قَبلِ أَن تَقدِروا عَلَيهِم ۖ فَاعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ ﴾
Except for those who return [repenting] before you overcome [i.e., apprehend] them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Tafsir of verse (35) from Surah Al-Maidah
﴿ يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَابتَغوا إِلَيهِ الوَسيلَةَ وَجٰهِدوا فى سَبيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ ﴾
O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed.
Tafsir of verse (36) from Surah Al-Maidah
﴿ إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَو أَنَّ لَهُم ما فِى الأَرضِ جَميعًا وَمِثلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفتَدوا بِهِ مِن عَذابِ يَومِ القِيٰمَةِ ما تُقُبِّلَ مِنهُم ۖ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ ﴾
Indeed, those who disbelieve – if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment.
