Tafsir of verse (1) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ المص ﴾
Alif, Lam, Meem, Sad.
Tafsir of verse (2) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ كِتٰبٌ أُنزِلَ إِلَيكَ فَلا يَكُن فى صَدرِكَ حَرَجٌ مِنهُ لِتُنذِرَ بِهِ وَذِكرىٰ لِلمُؤمِنينَ ﴾
[This is] a Book revealed to you, [O Muhammad] – so let there not be in your breast distress therefrom – that you may warn thereby and as a reminder to the believers.
Tafsir of verse (3) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ اتَّبِعوا ما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم مِن رَبِّكُم وَلا تَتَّبِعوا مِن دونِهِ أَولِياءَ ۗ قَليلًا ما تَذَكَّرونَ ﴾
Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember.
Tafsir of verse (4) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ وَكَم مِن قَريَةٍ أَهلَكنٰها فَجاءَها بَأسُنا بَيٰتًا أَو هُم قائِلونَ ﴾
And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon.
Tafsir of verse (5) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ فَما كانَ دَعوىٰهُم إِذ جاءَهُم بَأسُنا إِلّا أَن قالوا إِنّا كُنّا ظٰلِمينَ ﴾
And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"
Tafsir of verse (6) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ فَلَنَسـَٔلَنَّ الَّذينَ أُرسِلَ إِلَيهِم وَلَنَسـَٔلَنَّ المُرسَلينَ ﴾
Then We will surely question those to whom [a message] was sent, and We will surely question the messengers.
Tafsir of verse (7) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيهِم بِعِلمٍ ۖ وَما كُنّا غائِبينَ ﴾
Then We will surely relate [their deeds] to them with knowledge, and We were not [at all] absent.
Tafsir of verse (8) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ وَالوَزنُ يَومَئِذٍ الحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَت مَوٰزينُهُ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُفلِحونَ ﴾
And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy – it is they who will be the successful.
Tafsir of verse (9) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ وَمَن خَفَّت مَوٰزينُهُ فَأُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ خَسِروا أَنفُسَهُم بِما كانوا بِـٔايٰتِنا يَظلِمونَ ﴾
And those whose scales are light – they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.
Tafsir of verse (10) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ وَلَقَد مَكَّنّٰكُم فِى الأَرضِ وَجَعَلنا لَكُم فيها مَعٰيِشَ ۗ قَليلًا ما تَشكُرونَ ﴾
And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful.
Tafsir of verse (11) from Surah Al-Araf
﴿ وَلَقَد خَلَقنٰكُم ثُمَّ صَوَّرنٰكُم ثُمَّ قُلنا لِلمَلٰئِكَةِ اسجُدوا لِءادَمَ فَسَجَدوا إِلّا إِبليسَ لَم يَكُن مِنَ السّٰجِدينَ ﴾
And We have certainly created you, [O mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
