Tafsir of verse (84) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَاجعَل لى لِسانَ صِدقٍ فِى الءاخِرينَ ﴾
And grant me a mention [i.e., reputation] of honor among later generations.
Tafsir of verse (85) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَاجعَلنى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعيمِ ﴾
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure.
Tafsir of verse (86) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَاغفِر لِأَبى إِنَّهُ كانَ مِنَ الضّالّينَ ﴾
And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray.
Tafsir of verse (87) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَلا تُخزِنى يَومَ يُبعَثونَ ﴾
And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected.
Tafsir of verse (88) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ يَومَ لا يَنفَعُ مالٌ وَلا بَنونَ ﴾
The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children.
Tafsir of verse (89) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ إِلّا مَن أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلبٍ سَليمٍ ﴾
But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart."
Tafsir of verse (90) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَأُزلِفَتِ الجَنَّةُ لِلمُتَّقينَ ﴾
And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous.
Tafsir of verse (91) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَبُرِّزَتِ الجَحيمُ لِلغاوينَ ﴾
And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators.
Tafsir of verse (92) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَقيلَ لَهُم أَينَ ما كُنتُم تَعبُدونَ ﴾
And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship.
Tafsir of verse (93) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ هَل يَنصُرونَكُم أَو يَنتَصِرونَ ﴾
Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?"
Tafsir of verse (94) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ فَكُبكِبوا فيها هُم وَالغاوۥنَ ﴾
So they will be overturned into it [i.e., Hellfire], they and the deviators.
Tafsir of verse (95) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَجُنودُ إِبليسَ أَجمَعونَ ﴾
And the soldiers of Iblees, all together.
Tafsir of verse (96) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ قالوا وَهُم فيها يَختَصِمونَ ﴾
They will say while they dispute therein.
Tafsir of verse (97) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ تَاللَّهِ إِن كُنّا لَفى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ ﴾
"By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error.
Tafsir of verse (98) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ إِذ نُسَوّيكُم بِرَبِّ العٰلَمينَ ﴾
When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds.
Tafsir of verse (99) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَما أَضَلَّنا إِلَّا المُجرِمونَ ﴾
And no one misguided us except the criminals.
Tafsir of verse (100) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ فَما لَنا مِن شٰفِعينَ ﴾
So now we have no intercessors.
Tafsir of verse (101) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَلا صَديقٍ حَميمٍ ﴾
And not a devoted friend.
Tafsir of verse (102) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ فَلَو أَنَّ لَنا كَرَّةً فَنَكونَ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ ﴾
Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers..."
Tafsir of verse (103) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايَةً ۖ وَما كانَ أَكثَرُهُم مُؤمِنينَ ﴾
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
Tafsir of verse (104) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ العَزيزُ الرَّحيمُ ﴾
And indeed, your Lord – He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Tafsir of verse (105) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ كَذَّبَت قَومُ نوحٍ المُرسَلينَ ﴾
The people of Noah denied the messengers.
Tafsir of verse (106) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ إِذ قالَ لَهُم أَخوهُم نوحٌ أَلا تَتَّقونَ ﴾
When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah?
Tafsir of verse (107) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ إِنّى لَكُم رَسولٌ أَمينٌ ﴾
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
Tafsir of verse (108) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطيعونِ ﴾
So fear Allah and obey me.
Tafsir of verse (109) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ وَما أَسـَٔلُكُم عَلَيهِ مِن أَجرٍ ۖ إِن أَجرِىَ إِلّا عَلىٰ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ ﴾
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Tafsir of verse (110) from Surah Ash-Shuara
﴿ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطيعونِ ﴾
So fear Allah and obey me."

﴿ ۞ قالوا أَنُؤمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الأَرذَلونَ ﴾
They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?"
