Tafsir of verse (32) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ يٰإِبليسُ ما لَكَ أَلّا تَكونَ مَعَ السّٰجِدينَ ﴾
[Allah] said, "O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"
Tafsir of verse (33) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ لَم أَكُن لِأَسجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقتَهُ مِن صَلصٰلٍ مِن حَمَإٍ مَسنونٍ ﴾
He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."
Tafsir of verse (34) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ فَاخرُج مِنها فَإِنَّكَ رَجيمٌ ﴾
[Allah] said, "Then depart from it, for indeed, you are expelled.
Tafsir of verse (35) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ وَإِنَّ عَلَيكَ اللَّعنَةَ إِلىٰ يَومِ الدّينِ ﴾
And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."
Tafsir of verse (36) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرنى إِلىٰ يَومِ يُبعَثونَ ﴾
He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
Tafsir of verse (37) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ المُنظَرينَ ﴾
[Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved.
Tafsir of verse (38) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ إِلىٰ يَومِ الوَقتِ المَعلومِ ﴾
Until the Day of the time well-known."
Tafsir of verse (39) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ رَبِّ بِما أَغوَيتَنى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُم فِى الأَرضِ وَلَأُغوِيَنَّهُم أَجمَعينَ ﴾
[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them [i.e., mankind] on earth, and I will mislead them all.
Tafsir of verse (40) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ إِلّا عِبادَكَ مِنهُمُ المُخلَصينَ ﴾
Except, among them, Your chosen servants."
Tafsir of verse (41) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ قالَ هٰذا صِرٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُستَقيمٌ ﴾
[Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight.
Tafsir of verse (42) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ إِنَّ عِبادى لَيسَ لَكَ عَلَيهِم سُلطٰنٌ إِلّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الغاوينَ ﴾
Indeed, My servants – no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.
Tafsir of verse (43) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوعِدُهُم أَجمَعينَ ﴾
And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all.
Tafsir of verse (44) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ لَها سَبعَةُ أَبوٰبٍ لِكُلِّ بابٍ مِنهُم جُزءٌ مَقسومٌ ﴾
It has seven gates; for every gate is of them [i.e., Satan's followers] a portion designated."
Tafsir of verse (45) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى جَنّٰتٍ وَعُيونٍ ﴾
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.
Tafsir of verse (46) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ ادخُلوها بِسَلٰمٍ ءامِنينَ ﴾
[Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."
Tafsir of verse (47) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ وَنَزَعنا ما فى صُدورِهِم مِن غِلٍّ إِخوٰنًا عَلىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقٰبِلينَ ﴾
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.
Tafsir of verse (48) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ لا يَمَسُّهُم فيها نَصَبٌ وَما هُم مِنها بِمُخرَجينَ ﴾
No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
Tafsir of verse (49) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ ۞ نَبِّئ عِبادى أَنّى أَنَا الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ ﴾
[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Tafsir of verse (50) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ وَأَنَّ عَذابى هُوَ العَذابُ الأَليمُ ﴾
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.
Tafsir of verse (51) from Surah Al-Hijr
﴿ وَنَبِّئهُم عَن ضَيفِ إِبرٰهيمَ ﴾
And inform them about the guests of Abraham.
